Obtaining the Spell
Minimum Blue Mage Level Needed To Acquire Spell: Level 6
Sheep Song is best hunted in East or West Ronfaure or North or South Gustaberg.

This spell can be safely soloed when you can learn it at level 6, it is safer at level 8.

Nothing special is needed.

In North and South Gustaberg you can find Sheep on the hill tops in either zone. The areas are marked on the map above.

In both areas you will have no trouble killing any sheep you find by level 8. Watch out for aggro from wandering Goblins.

In East and West Ronfaure you will find sheep in the southern parts of the zones.

In both areas you will have no trouble killing any sheep you find by level 8. Watch out for aggro from wandering Goblins and Orcs.

There are lots of other Sheep around the world. The lower ones on La Theins and Konschtat make good targets. The Higher ones elsewhere will take a party to kill, so they are not recommended.

 

 
Special notes about the spell a Blue Mage may like to know
Can I solo it? Yes. You should have no problems by level 8 in camp #1 or #2.
Do I need any special items? No. A low damage weapon to feed the monster TP is useful.
Do Sheep like to use the move? They use it often.
The Sleep from this spell is light based, and thus works very well on the Undead and Bats.
Sheep Song can be paired with Healing Breeze to create the Auto Regen Trait.
