Soporific is
best hunted in Carpenters' Landing.
This spell can be soloed starting around level 20. No party is needed, but a small one can let you learn the spell earlier. Bring Remedies to deal with the Paralysis, or be able to cast Paralyna.
The Entrance to Carpenters' Landing is in Northern San d'Oria at F-5. There is a wooden door that slides open when clicked. Once in the Landing, There are four Flytraps can be found in the H-7/H-8 area. There is other aggro here in the form of Orcs that wander about, and Pugils that are near the river. A single bomb can spawn near the entrance. Take care when getting to camp, and when starting your fights with the Flytraps. You should have no problems soloing EM or Lower Flytraps. T's can be difficult, so if you choose to fight one, go into the battle with full MP, and buffed. By the level you can use the spell, 24, you will have no issues with any of the Fly Traps here. The fights are normal Head Butt and Bludgeon battles, with debuffs and cures mixed in between the attacks as needed.
The Spell can be learned from other Fly Traps about the world. There are aggro issues around the other low options, and the higher ones will call for help to beat. As the Camp #1 Fly Traps can provide the spell with much less annoyance, why bother?
