Wild Carrot
is best hunted in Bibiki Bay.
This spell can be safely soloed around level 36. It's much safer and easier to duo it with a Tank if you are getting it at the level you can use it. Party members should have Eye Drops for Dust Clouds 's Blind. Set a sleep spell for links.
Once you zone into Bibiki Bay, you will find many Island Rarabs in the area marked with a circle on the map above. There is also a Goblin Pathfinder with a pet Rarab at the position marked above also. The only aggro you need to worry about in this part of the zone are two goblins, the BST mentioned above, and a BLM on the ramp down to the docks, and the occasional bomb that spawns. Sight aggro in both cases. The Bomb can aggro magic also. Take care around them. The Rarab will link with each other here, so be careful with your pulls. Make sure that no other Rarabs are where you are fighting, or could wander into your area. If you choose to fight the Goblin's pet, you can safely pull it away from him when he is not looking at it. Make sure the bunny will not cross his vision after you pull, for if he sees his pet leaving, he will link to it, and you'll face an angry goblin AND his bunny. If this happens, sleeping the Goblin and it's pet, and zoning is the best plan. A Blue Mage with a Tank operating as a Duo will have no problems with this spell here. A Beastmaster can easily solo the spell with local pets.
There are higher level Rabbits to be found as you enter, as noted above with a red circle, or move around Uleguerand Range in a counter-clockwise direction toward it's top. As they are higher level, they will be more difficult to kill, and require help or a party. A 65+ Blue Mage can easily solo the lower Rabbits here. Be ready for the Paralysis move, and Wild Carrot can cure for a huge amount with these monsters. Because of the excellent lower level camp #1, these are not recommended.
If you desire a real challenge you can hunt the Highest CoP Rabbits in the West side of the Bay, or High Level Goblin BST pets. Because of the excellent lower level camp #1, these are not recommended.
Wild Carrot can be learned in Assault. The mission Shanarha Grass Conservation, The Lance Corporal rank assault in Leujaoam Sanctum, has about twenty rabbits named Coneys, who can, and do, use the spell. Your party should have no issue killing them, and in fact, must, to win the assault. You must be at a minimum of level 50 to partake in this mission.
